WEBENCH® Tools/BQ24170: 2 cells in series

Is Webench able to create battery charger designs for 2 cells in series? If so why can't I get to a design input page that accepts the data. Webench insists that I have a single cell in series.

Hi Harold,

Currently the WEBENCH tool works on single cell batteries. In the future, we are planning to add support for multi-cell applications.

If you are interested in using the bq24170, you can use the calculation tool and go to the bq24170 tab: www.ti.com/.../sluc244

You can also use our EVM as reference for the schematic and PCB layout: www.ti.com/.../bq24170evm-610-15v
