TPS3823: WDI when start up in case null version

Hello

Please let me have basic question. ( it may have in FAQ, sorry ..)

MCU should wait to assert WDI at least td (200ms for TPS3823-33) in case Power Up to prevent /RESET stuck at a low in case TPS3823-33?

( Please refer attached ppt)

If customer don't want to wait, he should choose TPS3823A ,not null version.

Is above understanding correct?

Please advise.

Kanji,

1. Yes, with TPS3823, customer should wait td before making input to WDI active.

2. Using the A version they can make input to WDI active at any time due to the A version doesn't latch.

3. Instead of using A version, you can also use external decoupling FET shown in the datasheet.
