TPS65632: Data sheet inductor replacements

Part Number: TPS65632

Hi,

My application has AMOLED panel that has requirement to use TPS65632. Data sheet prefers to use following inductors but they are not easy to find.

XFL4020-4R7ML	CoilCraft	4.7uH ind (L1, L3)
MMP252012-100N	Coil Master	10uH ind (L2)

I hope to find some replacement parts and good suggestion from the forum.

Hello Juha,

Thanks for your enquiry. In general the most important parameters that you need to consider are inductance, saturation current and for best efficiency performance the ESR. On top of that customers usually also care about size.
Look through the portfolio of your preferred inductor supplier and compare these values, then you should be ok. If you have found an appropriate one you can send me the part number I can check it once more.

Thank you for your reply.

The problem is, I don't have proper reference what to start looking for, other than inductance. Seems like components XFL4020-4R7ML & MMPP252012-100N does not even exist anymore. That is why I thought to TI if there is some other suitable replacement, since these are only ones preferred in your data sheet.

These will do as reference. Btw, data sheet says 100N so it seems to be typo then, should be 100M...
