TPS7A47: TPS7A4700 EN Pin Rise Time

Are there any rise/ fall time requirements for the TPS7A4700 EN Pin? I cannot find this in the data sheet. I am assuming that this is a standard logic input, but could you tell me if there is a rise time specification for this device?

Hi Richard,

You can consider it as a standard logic input, there is no specification on the rising time of Enable pin.

So a slow rising input voltage on the EN pin will not cause any problems with the TPS7A47?

Hi Richard,

This is considered a digital pin. Slew rates were not characterized on this pin.

One way for the customer to test their specific application is to use the EVM:

Thanks for your response.

I am going to tell the customer that as this is a digital pin he needs to make sure that the input is either HIGH or LOW as a slow rising input could cause issues.
