Hi, 

I am considering to apply BQ2570A for cylinder type of Ni-MH battery in 12 series(1.2*12).

Can you advise if this is proper for 12S1P NiMH battery charger IC?

Or is there any recommendation for 12S1P NiMH battery?

    bq25700A can support almost any battery chemistry because it is a slave charger. All the charging profile is controlled by the host controller. bq25700A provides a buck boost converter with CC, CV mode and all the protection functions.

    What is the input voltage range? If it is lower than 20V, you may also check the bq24105 to be a NiMH charger. We are going to have an application note soon.
