Voltage regulation reduction during JEITA warm can be disabled using REG09 bit 4. This means the battery will fully charge up to 60C instead of 45C, which is the general recommendation. Charge current reduction during JEITA cool cannot be disabled but the host software can continuously read REG0C NTC fault and then increase REG04 ICHG during JEITA cool.
