BQ24210: Safety time out @ Pre-charge

Hi All,

When pre-charge mode.(Battery voltage = 2.3V).

Set ICHG = 0.78A. Burn-in 1940 sec. It will disable charge.

Set ICHG = 0.07A. Burn-in 1940 sec. It haven't disable.

Why??

    Hello Pao,
    The 1940s safety timer is for precharge not charging. This is the timer for when pre charge ends and fast charge begins. Since precharge is set to 20% of the fast charge current, having a lower charge current will cause longer time for precharge and fast charge.
