BQ25890: BQ25890 cannot use with LDO

Hi team,

My customer is using BQ25890 now.

When 5V input, the BQ25890 output is only 1.7v,

When remove the LDO, the BQ25890 output is ok.

    Hi Frank,

    Is a battery attached to bq25890?  What is the combined load current required by LDO and TPS63020?  What is the input current limit setting for bq25890?  If input current limit is too low and there is no battery to supplement the load, then the output of bq25890 falls out of regulation.
