TPS54560: TPS54560 not working properly

Part Number: TPS54560

Hello,

I made a DC / DC converter using the TPS54560.

Please find attached schematic. It is made with the help of TI Webench designer  (webench_design_2411034_14_631442162.pdf).

The components used are exactly thats suggested.

The circuit is not working because the output voltage follows the input voltage.

In particular, under no load condition, I measured:

Vin = 8V – Vout = 7,9V

VFB = 1,7V, VRT/CLK = 0.497V, VCOMP = 2,016V

I don’t have Vout = 3,8V

The output signal (pin 8 of the TPS54560), displayed with oscilloscope, is shown in the two attached figures.

I tried to load the output with two different current values (140 mA and 1.2 A) and I just got a lowering of the Vout, but not the expected 3.8 V.

Do you have any suggestions to give me?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best regards.

Mariano
