For a design using the LM25141-Q1 to drive a 5V, 2A output with two EPC2014C GaN FETs as the switching devices, our team is experiencing an issue where the controller is not producing a steady output frequency on the gate drives, as illustrated in the scope shot below (green=top gate to ground at 10V/div, yellow=bottom gate to ground at 2V/div). In addition, the output of the converter does not regulate to the expected voltage (4.4V instead of 5V), which we expect is related to the same issue:
If we could be provided with some guidance as to the potential cause of this issue, I would greatly appreciate it. The circuit performs well in simulation, so we expect it is a PCB or component issue and we love some guidance on how to improve performance.
