I am developing a design for a boost converter with the following characteristics:
Vinmin = 6.2V
Vinmax = 8.2V
Vout = 12V
Iout = 4.5A
fsw = 500kHz
I was wondering if it would be possible to replace the high side switching MOSFET with a diode without damaging or affecting the controller?
