BQ25892: Reverse polarity protection for BAT output?

Part Number: BQ25892

Hello,

A client has asked about using the bq25892 with a user-serviceable cell. For this we will need to add reverse-polarity protection in case of user error when replacing the cell. Do you see any problems using the standard PFET method, with the PFET in the BAT line and its gate to PGND via a resistor (protected with a zener)?

We can then compensate for the PFET's Rds-on via the IRCOMP feature.

Thank you!
