Hi Team,

We would like to know the reverse current blocking function

Can this function work even if VIN=0V and VOUT=12V (so, VIN isn’t recommended range)?

Hi Kanemaru,

The back-to-back FET configuration blocks reverse current even when Vin = 0V.

Hi Rakesh-san,

Thank you for your prompt reply.

We simulated the reverse current blocking function by TPS25942A TINA-TI model.

However, the reverse current(from VOUT to VIN) can flow at VIN=0V and 12V.

Is this a bug of "TINA-TI mode"?

There is a bug in TINA-TI model. The team will fix and update the model on web soon.

Hi Kanemaru-san,

The model issue has been resolved and updated PSPICE model project files have been released to web. We are also in the process of releasing TINA-TI updated model and will update you once it is completed.

Meanwhile, you can have a look at PSPICE model files if possible.
