Hi Team,

We would like to know the behavior of TPS63020 and TPS630250 at VIN=VOUT.

Are behavior of those devices same as TPS630242 at VIN=VOUT(Figure24)?

So, we worry whether a noise occur on VOUT.

  • the TPS63025x and TPS63024x are very similar devices in terms of performances, except the current limit.
The TPS63020 has also the same control topology, the converter is expected to have stable regulation when Vin= Vout

Please note that the output voltage ripple of course depends on the effective output capacitance.
Noise measurement is highly dependent on the setup and the PCB layout.
  • Hi Sabrina-san,

    Thank you for your response.

So, I understand that TPS63025x and TPS63020 of VOUT has the large ripple at VIN=VOUT.

And, I understand that this mechanism of the behavior is the same as the following E2E thread.

    Is my understanding correct?

  • The output ripple strongly depends on the output capacitance. the similar output voltage ripple range can be achieved by adjusting the capacitors.

  • Hi Sabrina-san,

    Thank you for your advice.

I understand. Thank you very much.
