BQ27441EVM-G1A: Can we use BQ27441 for 2 cell in parallel for Li-Ion battery?

Hello,

For our battery charging circuit, we are using BQ24075(Battery Charger) & BQ27441-G1A(Battery Fuel Gauge). For Battery, we are using Varta 2-cell Li-Ion Battery with Capacity 2300mAh. This battery has 2 cells in parallel. So my question is, Is it ok to use BQ27441 Battery fuel gauge for this battery? Are there any issues if we use BQ27441 for 2-cell battery pack? if cells are not in series.

pls use the tool below to see if the bq27441 would work for your cells.

You need to perform a rel-dis rel test as described in the write-up. if your cells are a match it will work for two cells in parrallel

How can i use this tool? if i don't have Hardware yet. Is there any video tutorial to use this tool?

Vishal,
You will need our EVM to be able to log voltage current and temperature OR
you can write labview code to be able to log voltage current and temperature that will be submitted to the tool. The link i send you has detailed i instructions on what you need to do.
