CSD25302Q2, short or break at failure?

Hi all,

I'm interested in the CSD25302Q2.

However the experienced is that other MOSFETs that usually short at failure.

I.e. how do the NexFETs usually behave when they break down / fail?

Do they usually short source - drain, or break?

The NexFET power MOSFETs behave just like normal MOSFETs and in the event of a failure due to application overstress then then would fail in the same manner.

Since i'm not an expert in NexFET / MOSFETs could you explain how a failure in ovestress will look like?
