BQ27441-G1: Does this part support Li-Polymer batteries?

Hello ,

We plan to use BQ27441-G1 part for gauging Li-Polymer battery.  The part is listed in TI website as for Li-Ion or Li-Polymer but datasheet doesn't list Li-Polymer chemistry.

Could you please confirm if we can use this part to gauge Li-Polymer battery?

    Li-Polymer is just a type of Li-ion battery, so yes the bq27441 can be used. You just need to make sure you use our online tool gpc chem to ensure that one of the hardcoded chem-ids in the gauge is a match for your cell.
