BQ40Z60: Modifying golden image file to adjust ELD thresholds

I wish to modify the LED indicating thresholds in bq40z60 Golden image file from the defaults of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% to 15%, 50%, 75%, and 95%.  What is the easiest way to do this?  Can I just edit the file?  Is there a checksum involved that I have to worry about.  Please tell me the fastest and easiest way.

    There are no check sums involved. Make modifications on your board and issue the reset command and test to see if that works. The reset command (0x41) ensures the changes you made are updated in RAM. see the TRM of the device to verify that there are no other criteria to be met.
