BQSTUDIO: Data logging method

Is it possible for BQSTUDIO to generate a log file as soon as logging begins and append data to this file as time goes on? We currently have to tell BQSTUDIO to start logging, then stop logging and finally save data in order to generate a log file. Due to this, we have lost data several times due to computers rebooting or simple user error in this procedure.

    Whenever you click the start log button a window pops up that allows you to save your log file in a location and then the file will continuously be updated until you click the stop log button.  That is the process to do it.

    I found out what our issue was. We were using the "Watch" tab to generate log files of only the data we were interested in. This tab doesn't appear to allow you to save the data until after you tell it to stop logging. The "Start Log" button at the top of the registers page does though. Thanks!
