BQ35100: SOH Mode

Hi Team,

My customer considers to use BQ35100 with SOH Mode.



Regarding to the description of a datasheet above, I believe discharge current isn't monitored for this mode.
Is my understanding correct?

    hello Yaita,
    For SOH mode, for accurate gauging to occur, the battery has to be in relaxed mode, ie no current draw. If there is a current draw, the gauge can compensate for this but the measurements for SOH is best taken during relaxation
