BQ34Z100: How to convert CC Gain and CC Delta from binary into floating number

This is for the BQ34Z100. Does anyone know the format to convert the binary format into floating point format?

The CC Gain readback on my device is : 83 18 78 C2 which is supposed to be 1.99 but I am not sure how to convert.

Thanks for the post.

I did follow the instructions but the result don't seem to match what I read back from BQStudio. BQStudio reports that the CC Gain and CC Delta are 1.001 and .999 respectively, but when I calculated, my CC Gain and CC Delta are 10.124 and 10.00 respectively. The interesting thing is my gain and delta are the same as in the instruction on your link, but BQstudio reports differently. Interstingly my CC Offset and Board Offset matches what reported in BQStudio.

Could you comment on the differences of my gain and delta vs. BQStudio?

The raw data is:

CC Gain: 83 18 78 C2

CC Delta: 97 2D 7A 96

CC Offset: FA A0

Board Offset: FA
