The choice of MOSFET and the transformer design will depend upon the design spec - input voltage range, expected bulk cap ripple and Vmin, Vout, Iomax, etc.


The datasheet section 8 shows a full worked example.

Depending on the required spec, you can search the full database of TI-Designs and reference designs here, this will allow you find the closest match, and see the MOSFET choice and transformer used for that design:
