Absolute maximum ratings of voltage are stated in TPS7A6950-Q1 datasheet.
Vin:-0.3V(min)~45V(max)
Q1.
Could you tell me the absolute maximum rating of the input current?
Or, can you tell me how to think about it?

Hi Haurkawa,
Peak input current for TPS7A6950-Q1 is internally limited and typically depends on many factors such as output capacitor size, input supply impedance, and load current.
Based on how fast Vout ramps to its regulated value (5V with TPS7A6950-Q1) and load current, you can estimate peak input current as follow:
I (input peak current) = C_load x dV/dt + I_load
where dV : 5V (output voltage)
dt: output voltage rise time
I_load: load current if it is purely restive and directly connected to the LDO's output.
Hope this helps!
