TPS3710: TPS3710 INPUT VOLATGE WITHOUT VDD

Hello,

I want use TPS3710 in order to check if there a voltage on a signal is present or not.

But in a particular case, TPS3710 is not powered (there is no voltage on VDD pin) while there is a voltage on SENS pin.

Is this case accepted by the TPS3710 component?

Sylvain,

That is acceptable to have a voltage on SENSE but no voltage on VDD. The device won't function obviously but there won't be damage as long as the recommended operating conditions are maintained. This means no more than 6.5V on SENSE pin.
