BQ27220: Relation between coulomb count and battery capacity

Hi E2E Team,

We are using BQ27220 fuel gauge in our project. In the log file, there is a parameter coulomb count.

1) What is the significance of this parameter?

2) Can we relate it to battery capacity?

1. The coulomb count is the amount of charges [mAh] in/out of the battery.

2. During discharge, it will correlate with SOC and Full Charge Capacity because SOC is calculated by counting charges and comparing them to FCC.
