I have a question.

In datasheet p.18 bypass operation, why is the forced PWM recommended in bypass operation?

In bypass mode, you want the input to be directly connected to the output. In forced PWM mode, it basically disables the DEM. Thus, it can prevent the high side FET from being turned off by DEM circuit.
