TLV62585: TLV62585 Shutdown

Hello,

TLV62585 has output discharge circuit with Internal SW of 10Ω Rdson.

In shutdown mode, Figure.16 in datasheet, output voltage has undershoot about -0.3~0.4V.

Is it reason discharge is too early, because internal resistance is as small as 10Ω?

and , is there a way to make it smaller ?

Hi Taichi,

It is difficult to tell anything from the timescale on that waveform. We'll remeasure it and see if the undershoot is really there or if it is just noise.

Hi Taichi,

This undershoot is entirely coming from the inductance of the cables between the EVM and load. Here is the same waveform of EN and Vout with a 0.6Ohm load mounted right on the EVM (with no inductive cables).

I found the undershoot is caused by inductance of cable.

once, I try to measured at EVM.
