BQ25703A: bq25703A / Location of input capacitor

Hi,

As theory of switching regulator, the input capacitor should be located as close as controller IC and FETs. But it's located before sense resistor (Rac) in EVM, so please let me know the benefit or reason you designed such configuration.

    bq2570x buckboost charger needs to know the inductor current for the control loop. In buck mode, bq2570x detects the peak inductor current from the input sense resistor. So, the input capacitors are located before the sense resistor.
