TPS62150A: FB divider R2 max value

Hello,

In the TPS621x0 datasheet there is in the application section a minimum value for the bottom FB divider of 400kO.

In the similar TPS821x0 module datasheet the minimum recommended value for the lower feedback divider value is 100kO

Given the similar silicon used in the two, what is the origin of the limitation and where is the x4 difference for the recommended value originating?

    Hi Cosmin,

    If there is some specific issue in a specific application, please feel free to email me the relevant details.

    Being a module, it should be easier to use than a discrete. 100k is safer than 400k and allows worse PCB layouts, which might have more noise injected. You can use 400k for the both, if a good layout is done.
