My customer is considering BQ27426 and has a question.

I would grateful if you could advise.

I'm considering about BIN pin.

According to the datasheet P.5, BIN pin consists of push-pull.

I think this circuit is with constant current, is it correct?

If so, could you tell me the constant current value and simplified block diagram.

Hi Shinichi,

The bin pin according to the absoluate max section of the data sheet is push- pull. pls strictly adhere to the instructions in the data sheet for using that pin for battery insert detection. If the pin isn't used for battery insert, connect a 10K from that pin to ground.
