Dear All, 

I am currently using the BQ76PL455 with tms570ls04x launch pad board. What i am trying to achive is configure the BQ initialize with baud rate 250K. Once the init is over, the first thing i do is configure the application baudrate to 1Mbaud. 

The code that i have works fine with 250K baud rate and can initialize bq, configure AFE and read cell voltages. But when i change the baud rate to 1 Mbaud before configuring the AFE and try to communicate with the bq device the response is not working at all, i have checked the baudrate of tms570 and its seems to be making request with 1Mbaud rate but there is no response from the bq device at al.

Am i missing something to do after changing the baudrate ? I also send one request with correct crc as mentioned in the data sheet but still the RX doesn't work at all.

Can you please help me resolve this issue ?

    Hi Vikram,

    You are changing the pl455 Baud rate before changing the TMS570 baud rate, correct?

    Are you also following the details given in 7.3.9.3 of the datasheet? You should wait 10us before writing to the part again, and you should change the baud rate for all ICs in the stack
