Hi Ti,

I would like to check what's the input current vs the output current from the below specs.

Vin: 12V

Vout: 3.3 @ 12A

Fsw: 800Khz

Efficiency: 90%

Iin=Vout*Iout/Vin/Efficiency=3.3*12/12/.9=3.7A, You can set the current limit at 4A

Thanks for sharing but I do aware of this calculation. Just that more interested to know the input vs output current graph. How do i know how much the IC is drawing from the data sheet?

Not the power loss, what i need is to know when you are drawing power of 12A at 3.3V, how much is the power needed for this to work? Because I am getting that power from 12V, so i need to know that.

Usually， we measure the board to know what's the Iin and power at 3.3V@12A.
It's really difficult to calculate the accurate data about the power, what we can do is using the efficiency to estimate a rough data
