BQ34Z100-G1: RSOC and Remaining capacity go to 0 in relax

Part Number: BQ34Z100-G1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: GPCRB, , BQSTUDIO

Hello,

I have a fuel gauge BQ34Z100-G1, I have create a Optimized resistance temperature compensation parameters with the SLUUBD0 document. The battery is at 25.6V and when I reset the gauge, the remaining capacity and the RSOC have the coherent value. the RSOC is 25%. If I discharge or I charge the battery, the remaining capacity and the RSOC increment and decrement. after one day in relax for the battery with the battery voltage at 25.6V and the ambiant temperature are 20°C, We see the remaining capacity and the RSOC at 0 maybe the voltage is 25.6V. I join the GPCRB that I receive.

Thanks.gpcrb.rar

  • Hi Micou
We would need a log file to see and understand what is going on. Can you connect bqstudio to your device and log the gauge regiser while the batttery just sits for a day? Extract a gg file at the start and at the end of the test and send over. This will help us understand what is going on.
    thanks
    Onyx
