Hi Team,

Our customer are evaluating the behavior of output short circuit current limit(IOCP).

As a result, the value of IOCP varies according to ON/OFF of tone signal.

-------------

[Result]

IOCP=450mA at Tone signal ON

IOCP=560mA at Tone signal OFF

*RISET is 220kohm(setting IOCP is around 600mA)

-------------

We understand that the variation of IOCP depends on the variation of RISET and junction temperature.

Therefore, we would like to know whether this behavior correct (IOCP depends on ON/OFF of tone signal).

Could you please let us know if you have any information?

What is the meaning of Tone signal ON/OFF?

"Tone signal ON" means VLNB output 22k tone signal?

"Tone signal OFF" means VLNB don't output 22k tone signal?

Right?

I will double check on EVM.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

Tone signal is the external 44kHz.

"Tone signal ON" : VLNB output 44k tone signal

"Tone signal OFF" : VLNB don't output 44k tone signal

I have checked on EVM, the OC limit is almost same when tone ON/OFF.
So, i want to know how does customer test OC limit?
Could you tell me the test setup, and send me OCP waveforms?
