Dear TI,
We will contact you during the current compatibility test.
Class 5 is not recognized.
Is the calculated value correct?
Other products are class 5, 21.3 ohms.
Thank you.

Hi BJ,
For bt. standard classification, there are two class resistors on PD side. And PSE will apply more than 2 finger class events.
For class 5 to class 8, the first two class events will use class resistor A and it will be set to class 4 resistor and the current is 36-44 mA.
And then for different class, PSE will apply other class finger events using class resistor B. After the first 2 finger class events,
For class 5, it will apply 2 more class finger events and the resistor B will be set to class 0 and the current is 0-4 mA.
For class 6, it will also apply 2 more class finger events and the resistor B will be set to class 1 and the current is 9-12 mA.
For class 7, it will apply 3 more class finger events and the resistor B will be set to class 2 and the current is 17-20 mA.
For class 8, it will also apply 3 more class finger events and the resistor B will be set to class 3 and the current is 26-30 mA.
Thank you.
Best Regards
Jack Chen
