Hello,

I need a tunable voltage between -42V and -20V.

Can I use the LM337 negative LDO with, for example, an input of -45V while |VI-VO|< 40V ?

Or, in any case -37V is the lower output voltage?

Hi Stéphane,

Yes as long as you satisfy the minimum output current requirements as stated in the Electrical Characteristics table, you should be able to use LM337 with |VI-VO|< 40V .
