Hi

 

I'm working with the 28027 piccolo dsp. I need to drive my pwm(3.3V) signal to switch an IGBT(15V cmos).

Does anyone know how I can do this with an IC? Which one??

    The UCC27324 and it's family of devices and support a 15V CMOS VCC supply and will drive rail to rail on its output (0V to 15V) with input thresholds of 1V falling and 2V rising.  This should allow a 3.3V PWM signal to drive the input.  Please review this and let me know if that device will work for you.

     

    If not, an explination of why these devices will not work will help me propose an alternate solution.

    Take a look at UCC27531. This is specifically an IGBT gate driver. Good luck!
