LM25145: About

Part Number: LM25145

Hi Team,

My customer has a question.

Q1.RDS (on) Current Sensing is a valley detection method? (datasheet Figure 38)

Q2.
I have a question about the calculation formula of RILIM. (datasheet Page 24 (6))
Is it an overcurrent limit value to input to Iout?

Q3. What is the maximum value of the current flowing to the VIN pin?

Best Regards,

watanabe

  • Hello Watanbe,

Q1, yes its valley current limiting.

Q2.  It is the value of the valley current of seen in the inductor.

Q3. the current at the input of the device is ~2mA + Gate drive current if an external VCC is NOT used.

Gate drive current = Qg x Fsw

Where Qg is the total gate charge of the top and Bottom MOSFET.  and Fsw is the switching frequency

    Hope this helps?

    David.
