EV2300: EV2300 Firmware Update Issues

Part Number: EV2300

Hello,

I'd like to update the firmware version of my EV2300 (actual version is 3.1c) to a newer one. I've read in some forums that you actually need two EV2300 to update it.

Is there any way to update this without having to purchase a new EV2300?

    Unfortunately, at this time you need two ev2300.

    Hi Onyx,
    I need to update this version to the newest one because I had some troubles connecting with a BQ34Z100G1. The problem actually is was working properly but once i tried to write the golden file, it stopped working and cannot detect the BQ anymore.
    I've read in some forums that the problem could be the version of the EV2300.

    But, as you said, I need another EV2300. So, as I understand, to solve a problem that is not my fault, I have to buy the same product again with the same problem to program the old one...as you will understand, I'm not willing to pay twice. There must be a different possibility to solve this, hope you can provide me and to all this community a proper solution.
