BQ20Z95: Access store data on FBT3S2P battery

HI,

I'm trying to access FIMI FBT3S2P battery(made by BAK) manufacturing data, but keep getting "Error reading Data Flash SubclassVoltage, Code = 6". Although I'm able to read all the Flags/Status Bits.. Ultimately I'm looking for a number of charge cycles performed on this battery. Anyone that can help me with this? I'm using EV2300 and bq20z95 software v.1.50. Thanks.

Hi Vlad,
It appears your device is sealed. Can you send a screen shot of the bqEVSW window so i can verify that is the case. Your SS and FAS flags should be green indicating the device is unsealed

Hi Onyx,

Thank you for your answer. Here is a screenshot of the test. It appears both SS and FAS flags are red so the battery is sealed. How do I unseal the battery? Is there a standart command I have to send or it is a code provided by the manufacture?

HI, Yes your device is sealed, The FAS and SS flags are set. You need to unseal your device and put it into full access mode to be able to access the data flash.
