Hello everyone,
working with bqStudio sometime is frustrating. Bugs, missing help or not actual help and etc.
I spent half day trying to calibrate BQ34Z100-G1 voltage using bqStudio version 1.3.54.1
without success. The message "Calibration - Calibration cell voltage entered is out of range.
The value is in millivolts. Please check value and retry." arrived all of the time. Then I found
here that this is well known bug on bqStudio from Jan 2017 and until today is not fixed.
I switched back to bqStudion version 1.3.52 and I'm able to calibrate the voltage.
My suggestion is instead of useless messages as this one to add more information as what is the
suggested range of the parameter and to print the program file and line where this exception
occur, plus a way how to send these information back to bqStudio developer(s), plus a list of
well known bugs supplied with bqStudio installations, when are fixed and etc..
Regards,
S.P.
