  • Hello,
Are you checking this right after power-up? Can you ensure that there is no load on the device when this is taken.

  • 1.and if we connect a battery to bq25120,the charger status is shown as ready and if we remove the load charger status is shown as fault,so is this working fine.
2.CD is always shown as HIGH(chip disabled),though we have pulled it down on the bq25120 board.

  • Hello,
I see some difference between the first picture you posted and the others. In the first image, the INT function is not enabled. By default, this should be enabled and i see it enabled in the other pictures you posted so this might have been changed after startup. The same goes for charge enable in register 0x03h, bit 1. Charge is disabled in the first picture but enabled in the other. The presence of a battery shouldn't change this setting. Also BUVLO is 2.8V in the first and 3V in the second. This also seems to have been changed after startup as inserting a battery should change this. There seems to be some changes being made after the startup seen in the bqstudio when the battery is absent. Can you please remove the battery and ensure that no changes are made on bqstudio then check the default registers again?
