I am making my own PCB design with BQ27220 component.
I used a High Side current sensing resistor and I have a question with Vss pin on BQ27220 component.
Package is a small BGA and I am not really familiar with these packages.
VSS is the center pin and I don't know what is the best way to connect it to GND. (see picture below)
BQ27220 has a 0,5 mm pitch so if I place a route between 2 pads it shoud be very thin ... Or maybe I should place a via on Vss Pin to connect it to ground plane ?
When I see BQ27220 evaluation module Gerber file, I see Vss is not connected to GND (see file below).
So is it mandatory to connect Vss to GND ? What is the best way to do it ?
