May TPS40425 output current can up to 72A?

if yes, why webench just can run to 60A. and may we have tool to calculation?

Hi Bogey,

The current rating is determined by the power stage and thermal requirement.

From controller side, it is no problem to support 72A.

When TPS40425 Webench was develpped, the reasonable current rating of power stage at that time is 30A per phase, that's why current rating is limited to 60A two phase.

What's the ambient temperature in your 72A project?
