SG2524: Current limiting

Part Number: SG2524

Hello,

My question concerns the current lmitation feature in the SG2524 IC. I have DC/DC insulated converter in which I wish to limit current if its value measured on the primary side increases over a certain threshold. Based on the SG2524 datasheet I understand from Fig. 6 that current limitation will intervene when the difference between pin 4 & 5 is superior to 200mV.

Looking at the functional block diagram on page 9 though, there is no evidence of their being a 200mV threshold and the current limiter is represented just as an op-amp.

Could you confirm that a 200mV potential between pin 4 and 5 will pull the comp pin down as represented in Fig. 6?

Thanks and best regards,

Gabriele Ulissi
