Please let me know about Current limit, Circuit Breaker and Fast Trip operation.
-Current Limit
TPS2363 limit output current when current limit is detected for fault timer. Then FET becomes off state.
As a datasheet figure.2, does limited sense resistor voltage become slightly higher than current limit threshold?
-Circuit Breaker
Isn't circuit breaker device's function?
According to datasheet, I have understood that circuit breaker is the device operation with current limit is disable. Is this correct?
If it is No, please let me the circuit breaker operation.
-Fast trip
Is fast trip detected at the timing that sense resistor voltage is over fast trip threshold? And sense resistor voltage keep over the threshold for 200ns, then does FET become off state?
On datasheet P.16, there is 100ns in sentence, however it is 200ns on Figure.5 and electrical characteristics. which is correct value, 100ns or 200ns?
If the Fast trip goes away before the time (100ns or 200ns) expires, does the TPS2363 go back to the normal running mode? Or does FET become off certainly when Fast trip threshold is detected?
Is Current limit detection delay longer than 200ns? If it is No, does TPS2363 transition to current limit operation after Fast trip detection?
