LP2989: LP2989 output tolerance

Hi, 

can you please help with your assessment: for LP2989AI-3.3, Vin 5V, Iout 0.05-0.1A, Temp -40 to 85 degC use-case, is output tolerance really up to -4% according to the datasheet, so possibly going down to 3.168V?

    Hi Andreas,

    Over that temperature range it will be a 4% maximum if the line and load regulation are also included in the total accuracy, so the output could go as low as 3.168V in this range.

    Because you are not using the full current range or the input voltage range you can try to account for those parameters by using the line and load reg specifications, but this will only be an estimated accuracy and not a guaranteed accuracy.
