TPS55340: Snubber for SEPIC

Part Number: TPS55340

Our customer is using TPS55340 with SEPIC topology.

However there are some ringing on the SW node. And it appears as the VIN noise also.

How can we reduce for the ringing? Do you think the snubber can reduce the noise?

If it so, where should we put the snubber? (between Vin and SW?)

Could you give any advice if you have other way to reduce the noise?

hi Koji,

The SW noise at Vin mostly caused by the dierctly air coupling. to differenciate whether it is caused by the line or the air, suggest them add an xetra board outside the test board. solder a 1uF cap on board, and test the Vin ripple across the 1uF on the added board.
