TPS63001: TPS63031 Datasheet question

Hi all,

         I have a question about the datasheet of TPS63031: 

      

From the above figures(captured from datasheet), you can see the EN pin don’t connect with high voltage, in other word, the chip is disabled. So should I wired EN pin with VIN?

  • In the schematic picture you captured from the datasheet EN and PS/SYNC are connected to VINA. If you check the block diagram on page 8 of the datasheet you can see that VINA is internally connected to VIN with a resistor. This means VINA has the same voltage as VIN and the device is enabled if an appropriate voltage source is connected at VIN.
