Hi TI members

My customer now connect the system load at battery side (Rsns Csout place). But for now if system have load, can't reach Iterm and don't reach charge donw.

Can I suggest customer connect system load at Csin side(between L1 & Rsns place) ?

If there would have any problem?

The bq24157 does not have power path and so relies on the RSNS resistor to measure and regulate battery charge current. Unfortunately, this means that the charger cannot distinguish between system load current and battery charge current and so may not terminate. The battery must be stay attached to CSOUT for accurate measurement. I suggest your customer consider moving to a powerpath part like bq25601.
